In Dark Mass, players take on the role of Alice, a deep-sea explorer who, alongside her brother Reed, discovers the wreckage of an ancient ship. However, beneath this wreck lies something far more sinister—a manor lost to time, eerily untouched despite centuries hidden in the abyss.

As Alice ventures into the submerged manor, she quickly realizes she's not alone. Something lurks in the shadows, watching her every move. Trapped within the decaying halls, Alice must unravel chilling mysteries, solve dark ritualistic puzzles, and confront the horrifying truths that tie her fate to this forsaken place.

Played entirely from a first-person perspective, Dark Mass embraces the thrilling atmosphere of classic horror titles while introducing a unique underwater twist. The aquatic setting fundamentally transforms gameplay, allowing exploration across various heights, dimensions, and perspectives, masterfully utilizing the fear of deep waters (thalassophobia) to create a deeply intense and innovative horror experience.
