Since the demo launched, inKONBINI has turned into an even wilder ride than we expected.

The script has grown to around 120,000 words - about one-tenth the size of Disco Elysium, and roughly 1.5x longer than Undertale.

Every time we think we’re almost done, we dig a little deeper… and somehow end up closer to the Earth’s core.

Our vision was always to expand the game inward rather than outward - and at this point, it feels like we're crafting the most lovingly detailed convenience store in video game history.

Introducing: Yojoki Masters

Somewhere along the way, we even created a universe inside the universe - Yojoki Masters!

You’ll be able to collect gachapon figures, discover hidden lore, and even read a special manga issue created just for the game.

Where we are now

The game is about 95% complete, with tons of content already polished and explorable.

For the rest of the year, we’ll be focusing on:

  • Bug fixing

  • Localization

  • Completing the console ports

We’re currently aiming for a spring 2026 release.
