Repeated intro
Hello all, March has been a crazy-hectic month, but here's the juice: INIT. is now fully implemented with Unity 5, bringing with it some truly tasty visual support, including 4K (looks stunning). The latest Oculus DK2 SDK was a total suprise to all, and brings with it a whole host of features to the hardware and how it performs. New development machines! There is not a program or game on this planet that can even TOUCH what we are now capable of running. This makes Light Baking and development woes a little easier to deal with ;) New office! We've moved in to somewhere that isn't a flat! Its a miracle! We've yet to establish an effective way of FPS control using Oculus. And while standard FPS controls work well with non-VR playmodes, they don't really agree with DK2. This is something that Unity has yet to really provide, and yet UE4 trounces with ease. Hmm...rest assured, we're smashing it with Thor-like hammers. Update to follow soon!
