Midsummer Nights Scream Showcase

I’m excited to share some great news!

Inherited Shadows will be featured in its first major gaming showcase: the Horror Game Awards 2026 Midsummer Nights Scream Showcase, taking place on June 1st.

For those who are new to the project, Inherited Shadows is a first-person survival horror game that follows Amanda as she investigates the dark secrets surrounding her mother's past. What begins as a search for answers soon turns into a nightmare filled with cults, disturbing creatures, and long-buried truths.

To celebrate this milestone, a brand-new trailer will be revealed during the event. The trailer will showcase new environments, gameplay footage, story moments, and several features that have not been shown before.

Being part of this showcase is a huge milestone for the project and an incredible opportunity to introduce Inherited Shadows to a wider audience. As a solo developer who has spent years bringing this game to life, I couldn't be more grateful for all the support and encouragement the community has given me throughout this journey.
