If April Showers Bring May Flowers, then what do May Flowers bring? Sorry... was one of my Mom's favorite jokes from when I was but a wee lad. I'm guessing wee lad was probably something a Pilgrim would have said before they lost their British accent somewhere along the way. I wonder if it was a conscious decision for them to start spelling favourite without the U or pronouncing things like aluminium differently. Well, I'm not sure aluminium was even discovered yet but ANYWAY! Influent is now on sale at 50% off from today until May 7th to celebrate all the beautiful flowers of Springtime.

What a concept! Flower Power

Speaking of flowers, I wanted to leave you with a really lovely quote from Iris Murdoch that's one of my favorites, or was it favourites? Either way, Iris Murdoch's famous quote goes:

"People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us."

Really makes you want to stop and smell the roses more often, doesn't it?
