addedNew Freighter SpritesWhich is why I'm happy to announce that Infinite Voyager has new freighter sprites, with new warship sprites in the works. These sprites were created by Kruger (link to social media here) , a talented sci-fi concept artist I commissioned to design new freighter sprites (and is currently working on the replacement warship sprites).
addedNew Freighter SpritesHe's great, and you should check his stuff out, because these new sprites are a great fit for the countless, mass-produced freighters of Infinite Voyager. My concept for the freighters can be described as "massive cargo spaceships," and he definitely delivered.
fixedOther UpdatesIn terms of bug fixes, it's mostly little things like making sure the right sprite shows up in the information menu or the thrusters showing up correctly. Those were problems for a while, and should be fixed.

Other Updates
In terms of bug fixes, it's mostly little things like making sure the right sprite shows up in the information menu or the thrusters showing up correctly. Those were problems for a while, and should be fixed.
Other than that, it's mostly little things, like increasing your starship's travel speed or updating the warship's kinetic weapons to look more like projectiles traveling an appreciable fraction of the speed of light.

I'm really happy with how these new sprites look and how the game's coming along. The overworld sprites not matching up with the in-game ones was driving me nuts, and it honestly took forever to go between planets.
After this, all that's left are the new warship sprites, writing out and implementing the story mode, and working out the Voyagers. Because Kruger also designed those, too, and these things are absolutely massive.
