Woohoo! Thanks everyone for following INFINITE BALL WELL!

After over a month of development, the Demo has received its first update:

Major Updates

  • Before starting a game, the "Well" selection has been removed and replaced with choosing different starting "Pinballs". Additionally, after clearing Difficulty 1, the starting deck will also undergo some "changes".

  • Added meta progression content

  • Added animations and rich voice lines to the Goblin NPC in the shop. Huge thanks to TimeToGrind for the fun voice acting!

  • Pegs are a bit bigger, and pinballs are a bit bouncier. Mmm, feels good!

Other Adjustments

  • Did my best to improve localization quality. Since most of the in-game languages were done with AI assistance, there may still be awkward or incorrect parts. If you'd like to help polish a particular language, you can reach me by email: jamesikayin@gmail.com

  • Since meta progression was added, early-game power has been reduced—for example, less Stamina. At the same time, the score requirement for Difficulty 1 has also been lowered.

  • Adjusted the mechanics and values of some items. Seems more reasonable now.

  • The scene art seems to look a bit better.

  • The UI seems to look a bit better.

  • Added various dynamic effects to the shop scene.

  • The flash animation of the big hammer when clearing a level is no longer blinding.

  • Pinballs are bouncier, and the feel of hitting pegs is even better.

  • Added more "impact feel" when drinking Cola.

  • Pinballs can no longer get stuck between two trash cans. This issue previously caused levels to never end.

  • But, just in case, if a level never ends, a "Stop" button will appear after a while, letting you manually end the level.

  • Item icons seem to look better.

  • The terrain will occasionally change.

  • More complete tutorials and tip messages.

  • More interesting gold change effects.

  • Level Skip rewards are now only unlocked after the first victory, making things simpler for new players to learn.

  • Optimized the audio when many sound effects play at the same time.

  • After rerolling the shop several times, it seems something might happen...
