Indie Quest 2026 Trailer
Indie Quest 2026 is live, and we've just revealed a brand new Infinite Alliance trailer - featuring music by the incredible Eddie Marianukroh (Chained Echoes)! 🥳
So, how was it? If you're excited, please don't forget to wishlist Infinite Alliance!
We’re thrilled to announce that CrossCode, Seed of Nostalgia, and Cosmic Star Heroine are joining Infinite Alliance! Test your mettle against legendary heroes like Lea, Atilla, and Alyssa in over-the-top superboss battles. We also showed off the Geo Mythica character battle for the first time, too!
Note that due to console monetization requirements, the battles against Lea from CrossCode, Alyssa and Chahn from Cosmic Star Heroine, and Atilla from Seed of Nostalgia will require $1 optional purchases. Every other aspect of the game is free, and the proceeds from these purchases will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
On PC, this content – and the entire game - will be completely free.
Steam Bundle
We've put together a Steam Bundle containing all of the released games involved in Infinite Alliance with a 10% discount! Additionally almost every game is also on sale as part of Indie Quest too (which is reflected in the bundle), so if you'd like to support us developers and play all of the games involved in Infinite Alliance, now is a great time 🥳
I've received many requests for a bundle like this, so I hope it helps more players to discover some awesome indie JRPGs!
New Artwork
But it's not just a new trailer - we also have this INCREDIBLE piece of artwork showcasing all of the characters involved in Infinite Alliance. Stephanie Sybydlo (https://linktr.ee/dicesms) went above and beyond in creating this for us, and I hope you'll love it just as much as I do.
Behind the Scenes
I'm sure many of you were expecting to see a release date in the trailer today. Last year, I was expecting the same thing, so I wanted to take a moment to explain why that's not the case.
2026 has been a challenging year so far for my family. My grandparents have both passed away (along with another family member who my Dad was close to), I went through a difficult relationship/breakup, my Dad's van got taken off the road by an accident and my parents needed major financial assistance from me - lots of stuff like that. And some of our team members have also had their own challenges over the last 6 months, which naturally interrupt the flow of development.
We've never stopped pushing forward, as I hope you can see from the trailer, but personally speaking it's been a very difficult time. My current plan is for the next trailer to have the release date, and to probably debut it close to the game's launch. Something most people probably don't think about is how much planning and work goes into preparing a trailer like this. I had to start planning the Indie Quest 2026 trailer around October/November 2025, in order to make sure I had all of the assets we'd need. That also disrupts the natural flow of game development, because you're prioritizing things that need to be revealed in the trailer, rather than what might logically come next in the process of production. So it throws things off a little, but it's still great and beneficial forward progress!
I really want to think all of the developers that helped us pull off this latest trailer. Everyone went above and beyond, and I sincerely appreciate it 🙏
