Inertial Drift's unique twin-stick control scheme gives you independent control over both steering and drifting, but how does the drift stick work?
It's all thanks to the Drift Gyro! Under the bonnet of every car there are two super-dense discs counter rotating at several thousand rpm. When you slam on the Drift Stick (right hand side!), power is diverted to the discs, tilting them off axis to create a torque on the car which kicks out the back end into a perfectly controlled slide. Here's a look at the Drift Gyro in action from Inertial Drift's Animated Intro: Steam post image"That doesn't make any sense!" we hear you say, well tell that to this physics teacher demonstrating the technique to his class: Steam post image Don't worry though, understanding gyroscopic motion is not necessary to play Inertial Drift - and using the Drift Stick itself couldn't be easier! Push it right to drift right, push it left to drift left - it's that simple! You'll be drifting and cornering like a pro in no time at all! Steam post image Experience the twin-stick control scheme for yourself when Inertial Drift releases on Steam this Friday! - PQube & Level 91 Entertainment
