We’re also adding new elements to guide roguelike beginners who may be wondering, “In what order should I progress through the game?”
changedIn addition, we have resolved an issue in the damage calculation formula used when the player attacks. With this fix, strengthening your equipment will now result in larger damage values exchanged in combat, restoring the intended gameplay experience and making character growth easier to feel.

In addition, we have resolved an issue in the damage calculation formula used when the player attacks. With this fix, strengthening your equipment will now result in larger damage values exchanged in combat, restoring the intended gameplay experience and making character growth easier to feel.

The details of the update are as follows:

New

  • Added a Map feature.

  • Added strategy hints that appear when the scenario has not yet been cleared.

  • Added boundary lines at the exits of the hub/base map.

  • Added the “Test Tube Synthesis (試験管合成)” and “Decorate Practice (デコレートの練習)” dialogs when challenging 「インビトロ√コヨリニウム」.

  • Added an armor decorate effect (prevents the Prophecy status) to 「不動薬」.

Added New Items

  • Third Map (3枚目の地図) (Accessory)

  • Pioneering Potion (開拓の薬) (Potion)

  • Map Walk Card (地図歩きのカード) (Card)

  • Guiding Light (誘導灯) (Light)

Added a New Decorate Recipe

  • Pioneering Potion (開拓の薬)

  • Added posters to the interior of 「こよりの研究室」.

Adjustments / Improvements

  • When using Turn Advance (ターン経過), it will now automatically stop once enemies reach the player’s vicinity.

  • Improved responsiveness when navigating menus.

  • Shortened the delay between pressing a movement button and the player starting to move.

  • Adjusted trap placement so traps will no longer spawn at room entrances by default.

  • When changing facing direction, adjusted behavior so you will not reorient toward enemies beyond a wall corner.

  • Changed the color of the marker displayed when changing facing direction.

  • Improved floor generation patterns.

  • Adjusted generation so large rooms will no longer appear.

  • Added new floor generation patterns.

  • For box items that can store contents, the “Peek (のぞく)” command will now appear even when the box is empty.

  • The bottom row of tiles on the 「こよりの研究室」 screen is now treated as an impassable wall.

  • Increased the overall size of Hollows.

  • Increased attack accuracy.

Difficulty Adjustments

  • Adjusted overall Hollow parameters in conjunction with the damage-calculation fix and the Map feature implementation.

  • Reduced enemy durability in the final battle of the current scenario.

  • Increased the growth rate of コヨリニウム, and also increased the コヨリニウム growth rate while 「ベンゼンリング」 is equipped.

  • Changed the possible spawn range for clones of the 「フブキのホロウ」 line to the 1-tile area around the user.

  • Changed the number of clones the 「フブキのホロウ」 line can spawn at once to 1.

  • Reduced the number of items dropped from the player’s inventory by the 「ころねのホロウ」 line.

  • Increased the spawn rate of 「鍛冶ハンマーのカード」 and 「ホロコネクトのカード」 in 「結社のアジト」.

  • Increased the spawn rate of the 「こよりのホロウ」 line in certain dungeons.

  • Decreased the spawn rate of the 「ミオのホロウ」 line in certain dungeons.

  • Increased the drop rate of 「クインテッセンス」 dropped by the 「こよりのホロウ」 line.

  • When specific conditions are met, increased the spawn rate of certain box items in certain dungeons.

  • Increased the activation rate of the 「マヨ化」 sign.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where weapon strength had less impact than intended in the damage calculation.

  • Fixed an issue where Strength would not recover on the sofa set in 「ホンシャオフィス」.

  • Fixed an issue where, if the player had two or more 「帰還のカード」, two could be consumed at once.

  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to place a box inside another box by using trading/exchanges.

  • Stabilized floor generation to address an issue where stairs advancing from 「ホロウライブ」 Floor 11 might not generate in some environments.

  • Fixed an issue where the selling price could become 1 when selling a chip that had been converted into an item.

  • Fixed an issue where parts of character textures could become invisible.

  • Fixed incorrect text in the key help.

  • Fixed a typo shown when using a frozen item.

  • Fixed an issue where an inappropriate simplified log could appear when using 「何とかしてくれるカード」 in specific locations.

  • Fixed an issue where Hollow movement could become unnatural while using Turn Advance (ターン経過).
