Update – Multiplayer Improvements & General Fixes
Cross-Platform Support
Reworked the multiplayer system to support additional platforms.
Introduced new abstraction layers allowing integration of different network logic implementations.
Implemented packet fragmentation: large packets are now split into smaller ones, with proper ordering and reassembly to ensure stable per-frame processing.
Integrated networking via Epic Online Services (excluding launcher-related features).
Integrated Steam Networking into the new multiplayer system.
General
Fixed an issue causing infinite waiting in multiplayer sessions.
Fixed a bug where starting a new game could delete a previous save slot.
Fixed an issue where save slots were not being saved correctly.
- Improved gamepad supportadded full navigation across menus and UI (city, inventory, character stats window, shops, difficulty selection).
Added item description display when navigating with a gamepad.
Added the ability to assign workers at night.
Improved gamepad navigation on the level selection map.
Fixed an issue where the character always faced left at the start of a level.
Added the ability to skip video cutscenes.
Fixed an error that occurred when creating a lobby while one was already created.
