Idle Together changes
After nearly 9 months of development, Idle Together is finally complete with its version 1.0: a stable, multiplayer-playable version with all the planned content. Of course, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any more updates, let alone bug fixes, but it does mark a true milestone in the game’s development. 🚀
To give you some numbers, Idle Together currently means :
🧠 432 974 lines of code
🎨 791 unique assets
🕹️ 1 684 wishlists
👥 1 356 unique players
🕒 8h40 average playtime per player
⭐ 83 % positive rating
💬 176 community hub followers
🗨️ 90 players on Discord
🏆 28 achievements
🛠️ 165 updates released
📈 14,7 % conversion rate
🧑🤝🧑 13 concurrent players
🥇 7ᵗʰ place among Steam games made with GDevelop
That’s huge! At least for me. Let’s not forget I’m working solo, and I started out with zero experience.
I remember when the villagers were just stickmen, and yet people still bought the game… Thank you to them ! 🙏 Because without you, I would never have been able to reinvest that money to pay other independent artists, just like me, to make up for my own shortcomings in visuals and sound.
I feel moved as I write these lines, because you’ve helped me achieve one of my oldest dreams. ✨
Thank you all, thank you so much.
