Idle Reincarnator changes
I’m excited to announce Cradle of the Dark Brood, a new incremental/idle game set in the same universe as Idle Reincarnator.
This time, you do not begin as a hero, a ruler, or a wandering soul.
You awaken as something ancient, broken, and restrained in the dark. Your only means of acting on the world is through a fragile brood of insectile creatures that answer your intent. They are weak at first, but they can breed. Their offspring inherit strength, adapt, mutate, and eventually become tools of conquest.
In Cradle of the Dark Brood, you will:
Breed generations of creatures and shape their lineage over time
Promote stronger offspring into royal breeders, soldiers, scouts, scavengers, chroniclers, and other roles
Explore and conquer zones such as caves, wastelands, meadows, shores, and darker regions beyond while also finding familiar areas.
Build up your abode with structures, blueprints, research, and resources
Unlock mutations, species paths, consecrations, divine skills, and automation
Gather fragments of yourself and decide how far the brood should push before the next cycle begins
The game leans into a darker side of the same universe: reincarnation, essence, sacrifice, fragments of power, and the slow growth of something that should probably have stayed buried.
If you enjoyed the progression and long-term growth of Idle Reincarnator, I think you’ll find something familiar here, but with a very different shape. Instead of reincarnating a single being, you are guiding an entire brood across generations, using breeding, conquest, research, and sacrifice to claw your way toward completion.

Thank you for playing Idle Reincarnator, and thank you for following the strange little universe these games are growing into!
