Idle Life - An Idle Game changes
This update focuses on the new Event system, several UI improvements, bugfixes, and some important item and recipe adjustments.
Some of these changes are smaller, but they are important for making Idle Life feel cleaner, more stable, and easier to expand in future updates.
Event System π
We started adding the foundation for the new Event system.
Events are planned to become part of the Community area, similar to the Global Shop. The goal is to give players more ways to contribute, work together, and unlock special rewards or optional content over time.
There will be different types of events, including larger community-focused events and reward-based events. This system is still being built step by step, but the backend and first parts of the structure are now being prepared.
UI Improvements π§
We also made several UI adjustments to improve the overall flow and readability of the game.
The goal of these changes is to make menus feel cleaner, reduce confusion, and make important information easier to understand while playing.
Bugfixes π οΈ
This update includes multiple bugfixes across different parts of the game.
We fixed several issues that could cause confusing behavior, incorrect requirements, or problems with normal progression.
As always, bugfixing is an ongoing process, especially while larger systems like Events, the Global Shop, unique items, and progression are still being expanded.
Item and Recipe Adjustments βοΈ
Some items and recipes have been adjusted to improve progression and remove confusing requirement loops.
One important example was the stick recipe. Previously, you needed an axe to create sticks, but creating an axe also required sticks. This created a progression problem where players could get stuck or confused.
This has been adjusted so the early item flow should now make more sense and feel smoother.
Why this update matters π
This update is another step toward making Idle Life more stable and better structured for future content.
The Event system gives us a new foundation for community-driven content, while the UI changes, bugfixes, and item adjustments help improve the current gameplay experience.
Thank you for playing, testing, and reporting issues. Your feedback helps a lot and makes it easier to find problems like broken recipe loops or confusing progression steps. π
