Hi everyone! This Hotfix 2 for Patch 0.1.9 focuses on fix an known Asusa bug, general performance improvements and minor visual polishing, while continuing the stabilization work ahead of our next major update.
Performance & Optimization
General performance improvements across multiple systems and environments
Further optimization work to improve overall stability on mid-range hardware
Bug Fixes
Fixed known Asusa bug
Fixed various pop-in and LOD issues
Fixed multiple shader inconsistencies and incorrect material properties
Fixed texture mismatches (including box office assets not matching geometry)
Fixed several clipping issues across environments
Fixed incorrect or missing surface audio in multiple areas
Visual Polish
Minor visual polish applied across all sites to improve overall consistency and presentation
We are still actively working through a number of known issues, but most of our focus is now on the upcoming 0.2.0 major update (Pre-Alpha), which will resolve several of the remaining bugs and deliver a significant step forward in both stability and content, particularly in terms of narrative and lore.
In the meantime, performance continues to improve. On hardware such as the GTX 1050 Mobile, decent gameplay can generally be achieved by enabling V-Sync at 720p and capping the frame rate at 30 FPS.
A lot is currently in the works behind the scenes, both in terms of updates and upcoming activities, and we are looking forward to sharing more with you soon.
