I Shall Remain changes
1. What games genre is I Shall Remain part of?
The game is a combination of elements from different genres, starting with Action elements, strongly continuing with Role-playing and closing with Survival ones. On top of that, the game atmosphere and music are given a fair share of attention as well to create the mood. Everything in the game is there to create an experience that transcends the genre categorization and make it unique.
2. What kind of game I Shall Remain is?
Is a single player story driven one with chances to become a multiplayer-coop in the future.
3. Is there any discount for buying the game in Early Access?
Yes, the current version price is 25% lower than the final price.
4. What is the state of the game currently?
The game is in Early Access alpha, stable and very playable.
5. What kind of an update scheme are you going to be using to deliver the remaining content?
We are going to deliver monthly updates which will include content, new features and bug fixes.
6. How much playable content is in the current release?
Currently there's about 4-6 hours of playable content but depending on your skills and your will to try out different stuff might take longer.
7. How much is the game going to take to complete in the final release?
We expect the game to take around 20 hours to play. Being a semi-open world game it mostly depends on your will to finish it and the rate at which you want to enjoy it. Finishing the story of the game doesn't mean you can't play anymore though. Having 4 levels of difficulty along with different choices to make during the game will increase quite a lot its playability value.
8. Is there a road-map for the content delivery till full release?
The road-map can be seen following this link . We plan to add a detailed road-map with even more details for the upcoming months in a short while.
9. Are the save games going to be compatible between releases?
We are planning to have that but might not be in from the first update. The system we use currently supports that but might get adjusted in the next upcoming release to make sure we are going to provide the rest of the updates hassle free.
10. What input scheme is I Shall Remain using?
We are using a combination of keyboard and mouse currently but there are users who were able to bind the controls to a controller as well without our official support.
11. Why are the Prologue and the Story being separate?
The Prologue is intended to get played before the story (at least once) as it plays the role of the tutorial and it also lays down the basis and the initial reason for the story. The Story starts a few days after the Prologue and follows the narrative threads closely.
