addedThis update adds a few new features, including some that were requested by players! Namely a FOV slider, different weapon view models, footsteps, bouncing knives new enemy sounds!
changedBouncing knives! The knives have been reworked! Instead of exploding on contact with walls and floors, they will bounce until they hit an enemy, just like in IAS1!
changedNew Weapon Viewmodels! Some players have said that the viewmodels are just simply too big for the screen and I completely get it, after comparing them to IAS they certainly ARE bigger.
addedNew Weapon Viewmodels! That's why you now have the option to chose from the "Default" or "Classic" viewmodel! You are prompted this before you start the game, but you can change it any time you want later on, it's applied on level reset!
changedNew Weapon Viewmodels! The classic one emulates IAS1's viewmodels, they show less of the gun but take up much less of the screen, and of course if you want the best of both worlds feel free to play around with the previously mentioned FOV slider!

This update adds a few new features, including some that were requested by players! Namely a FOV slider, different weapon view models, footsteps, bouncing knives new enemy sounds!

Let's go over them now.

Bouncing knives!

The knives have been reworked! Instead of exploding on contact with walls and floors, they will bounce until they hit an enemy, just like in IAS1!

FOV SLIDER!

Want to see more of the screen or just want to see Sakuya's arm? Now you can with the FOV slider! Stay with the default 60 or go as high as 100!

New Weapon Viewmodels!

Some players have said that the viewmodels are just simply too big for the screen and I completely get it, after comparing them to IAS they certainly ARE bigger.

That's why you now have the option to chose from the "Default" or "Classic" viewmodel! You are prompted this before you start the game, but you can change it any time you want later on, it's applied on level reset!

The classic one emulates IAS1's viewmodels, they show less of the gun but take up much less of the screen, and of course if you want the best of both worlds feel free to play around with the previously mentioned FOV slider!

Footsteps!

The floors will quiver and tremble at the mere sight of Sakuya's heels. Footsteps will now play as Sakuya walks! A small feature sure, but it is a nice touch!

FPS optimizations

There was some inefficient use of code that would cause significant cpu spikes whenever an enemy spawned in or fired a bullet, oops! This is now fixed and the game should be mostly stutter free from now on, of course, I plan to make even more optimizations soon, but the game should feel much better to play now!

New enemy sounds!

The shotgun and pistol bunnies now have their own unique sounds! Additionally, the rifle bunny now has more sounds, so you shouldn't hear only YATTA or GOMENASAI as much anymore!

A new song for level 1!

This one is a banger, trust me! In summary, the following features have been added:

  • FOV Slider!

  • A new song for level 1!

  • New Weapon viewmodels!

  • Footsteps!

  • Bouncing knives!

  • FPS optimizations!

  • New enemy sounds!

This update also features a slew of bug fixes! They are as follows

Fixed a bug where there would be a delay before the sound volume setting takes place per level Fixed a bug where the player could skip a large portion of level 2 by jumping across the hills Fixed a bug where the player could infinitely use the cirno plush's beam by holding down the fire button while switching weapons Fixed a bug where the P90 hit effect wouldn't follow enemies properly Fixed a bug where attempting to stop time with no more time stop meter would still work for a brief second Fixed a bug where the shotgun's muzzle wouldn't follow the barrel Fixed a bug where knifing a frozen enemy would cause them to stay frozen in place Fixed a bug where the knife would jitter and not work properly Fixed a bug in level 10 where the player wouldn't be able to get past hte barrier (I THINK
