We have made fixes to the Japanese version of Neptunia Rebirth2. The Japanese version of the game had a problem loading save files. With this update you can now load saves. *This update does not affect or is applicable to the English or Chinese version of the game.

In order to make your old saves please do the following. NOTE: You must go into Rebirth 2 and create a new save file. This will allow Steam to create the new Save directory.

  1. Navigate to the .exe directory of Rebirth 2 Path: C: / Program Files (x86) / Steam / steamapps / common / Neptunia Rebirth2

  2. Select all .sav, .savslot files, and the "Neptune2" configuration file NOTE: Each save has two files tied to it. One .sav & One .savslot file. The “Neptune2” file should be type "configuration settings" or a .ini file.

  3. Copy all Select Files

  4. Navigate to new Save Directory (You need to make a new save for this directory to exist) Path: C: / Program Files (x86) / Steam / userdata / [User ID] / 351710 / remote NOTE: The [User ID] should be the most recently modified folder, unless you are using multiple accounts often.

  5. Paste the files into the new directory

  6. Restart Steam

  7. Launch Rebirth 2

  8. Load desired Save
