addedNew Player Designs ✏️For a while now, we’ve been thinking about how to improve the player models to allow for more creativity, and today we’re excited to share some of the new designs! These new designs will give you a lot more opportunity to express yourself with hairstyles, outfits and features that wouldn’t have been possible before.
addedNew Player Designs ✏️Here is a look at one of our style concepts for the new player character:
addedNew Player Designs ✏️The new designs have a lot more detail, whether it’s in the little strands of hair or clothing patterns (more of which coming in future devlogs!). Our goal with these is to bring the humblets more to life while keeping them soft and whimsical.
addedFace Customisation ✨You can now change the chin shapes! It’s a very simple detail that can add so much personality to your character or allow you to create a humblet which looks more like yourself.
addedFace Customisation ✨We also updated some of our ear shapes while also adding new ones and redesigned the player noses. Initially there were 3 shapes to pick from: cylinder, triangle and square. Now there will be a nice range of noses to choose between, which are also part of the face and not just an addition on top.
addedFace Customisation ✨What you see here are just a few examples from the many concepts we have which we’ll be adding to our game. We also have some fun new designs for customisation options for the eyes, mouth, eyebrows, and details like freckles, blush, and many more, but that’s for another devlog!

New Player Designs ✏️

When we first designed the player characters for Humblets, we couldn’t have predicted how much the game would grow. The original designs were simple, and while that simplicity suited our world at first, it also left us with fewer options for feature customisation.

For a while now, we’ve been thinking about how to improve the player models to allow for more creativity, and today we’re excited to share some of the new designs! These new designs will give you a lot more opportunity to express yourself with hairstyles, outfits and features that wouldn’t have been possible before.

Here is a look at one of our style concepts for the new player character:

The new designs have a lot more detail, whether it’s in the little strands of hair or clothing patterns (more of which coming in future devlogs!). Our goal with these is to bring the humblets more to life while keeping them soft and whimsical.

This also allows us to have fun with charming clothing shapes and elements that were not really possible before, like puffy sleeves, top frills, wide collars and so on!

And then there’s one of our favourite little changes: ball hands! While we’re adding more complexity to certain areas, we still want the overall style to stay cute, cozy, and uniquely Humblets.

Face Customisation ✨

Here’s a look at some of our face customisation in 3D:

You can now change the chin shapes! It’s a very simple detail that can add so much personality to your character or allow you to create a humblet which looks more like yourself.

We also updated some of our ear shapes while also adding new ones and redesigned the player noses. Initially there were 3 shapes to pick from: cylinder, triangle and square. Now there will be a nice range of noses to choose between, which are also part of the face and not just an addition on top.

That’s it for this update! We’d love to hear which designs and features you’re most excited to see in the game. Your feedback helps us make Humblets even cozier.

Stay cozy, Daria and Aaron, Berry Bite 💚
