changed[c]Testing is over, puny humans. Now I need some time to turn this ship into an unstoppable weapon![/c]
changedYes, Endless Mode … has its problems. We know. At one point we even had to wipe the leaderboard because some of you evolved from “resourceful survivors” into “min-maxing interstellar tyrants.” The mode is going to be heavily reworked – not just the wave balance, but the entire late-game flow.
changedAnd yes, the Bioreactor . We are aware that repeatedly stuffing puny humans into a giant meat furnace should probably require fewer clicks. Despot’s efficiency department is already experimenting with several solutions, ranging from “quality-of-life improvements” to “highly unethical automation.”
changedAnd there are many other things that still need to be finished, improved, or completely reworked. Endless Mode and the Bioreactor are just two of the more obvious examples that many of you brought up during your playthroughs. Right now, we’re still sorting our priorities directly based on your feedback .

Hey everyone,

Thanks for participating in the Hull Rupture playtest! As Despot’s devoted puny slaves, we appreciate your time and dedication to optimizing his spaceship for maximum labor and minimal comfort.

We had over 30,000 participants, which is still far fewer than the number of puny humans you tossed into the Bioreactor to be processed into fuel goo. The average playtime clocked in at a whopping 3 hours and 38 minutes (median: 1 hour and 36 minutes). These are the best numbers we’ve ever had across all demos and playtests for our previous games. Looks promising!

For everyone who joined the playtest: please keep in mind that this was still a very early version of the game, and there’s a lot of work ahead of us.

And before you start desperately rattling the airlock doors for more: there will be more playable sessions before launch.

Thank you and stay tuned for future updates!
