fixedAfter a lot of playtesting and bug-fixes, we've decided that the update was ready to launch! A small list of the major changes can be also found in our subreddit Bots: The game now has AI for all the characters! In the tournament mode you can finally play against Computer controlled players to improve your skills or to relax from the PvP slaughter. The bot's ability scales with the game score, becoming more and more challenging as points get more in your favor, making a clear victory harder. You can also, if you want, make an all-bot tournament, but where's the fun in that? Backgrounds: After being removed in the transition from the closed beta version to the steam release due to bugs in the online mode, multiple backgrounds are coming to the game! For now, only the theater stage was added back, alongside the classic one, as shown in the steam store page screenshots, but plans for other scenes are already in the works. Effects: Seeing how the game looked we though that something was missing from it's visuals. Trying out some of the effects that the engine supports we really liked how the bloom effect gave the theater lights a more lively feel, so we decided to keep it in, tweaking it to not look overdone and expanding it to the whole game. On a side note, the moving clouds are also making a comeback both in the in-game level and in the main menu. UI: After removing the duel gamemode we needed a new way to help new players in understanding the game mechanics. Without a main story to teach each character's gameplay step-by-step, a new Guide options was added to all the main menu screens, where the old characters descriptions are aviable to read, with some small changes to make them clearer and shorter. Fixes: The boring part. Many bugs were found minutes after the old patch was released, so we started to work on them as soon as possible. The big ones are the audio options not working, the server list working improperly, options not saving and loading correctly, gamepad support broken and conflicting menus. All fixed, after a lot of hours spent by our programmer on the game (instead of revising for his exams). As always, leave suggestions and feedback here in the comments or on the steam game forum. Thanks again for your support on the game, we hope you like this new update. See you ingame!
