A: "That is the primary mechanic but that isn't the end of it, the fun is in how creative you get doing it. The maid won't come to check the room until you break a few items so you have infinite time to 'setup' the hotel before any timers start. We're working hard on the game progression so that you always feel like there is something new just around the corner. Currently there's 29 weapons, modifiers and enhancers for you to purchase, these range from straight up melee weapons such as Boxing Gloves and explosive Firecrackers, to weirder more conceptual things such as a glue gun or the Black Hole." Q: You make story games, is there a story? A: "You visit hell, sell your soul to the devil, who is fully voiced, and eventually decide that you want to take it back. The story is light in comparison to A Chair in a Room or The Exorcist: Legion VR but we've recorded plenty of voice back and forth between the hotel staff to keep each playthrough entertaining and fresh" Q: What else is there to do? A: "We've created 4 mini-games so far, the video alludes to two of them, Club Lust, in which you create a Frankenstein dancer for The Devil by throwing body parts around a seedy strip club and Sloth, a workout on behalf of the devil with sweatband and all. There's also an underwater scavenger hunt based around a car in a swimming pool for Greed and Pride sees you trimming Satan's bushes. The hotels also have some environmental activities such as AR bowling in Tokyo and lawn croquet in England, which is good for unsporting losers as you can smash it all up after. " If anyone has any questions about Hotel R'n'R please ask in the discussions, we've got 2 month until we go into early access so we're going to start chatting more about the process. Ryan
