The Renault Laguna was one of the great driving forces during the golden age of the BTCC championship. It even helped Renault in its winning run, to clinch 1997 drivers' and constructors' titles in the series.

Developed in conjunction with and with help from the renowned Williams F1 team, the Laguna took part in 165 races, winning an impressive 38 victories and 103 podiums.
