changedWhat’s in the Open Beta? The Open Beta features two training missions to show you the ropes, as well as the Hammond Kidnapping mission. All of which feature in the final game!
addedWhat’s in the Open Beta?If you played our Closed Alpha a couple months ago, you’ll recognize some of these maps. We’ve taken your feedback from that Alpha and made several changes in the Open Beta that we think you’ll enjoy. Notably, the Hammon Kidnapping now features more randomness, to enhance replayability! You’ll have to tackle this additional challenge as you’re called upon to adapt to new circumstances, even in familiar areas. You can keep coming back to the same levels to increase your SWAT prowess!"
addedA Note on DifficultyWe’re experimenting with mid-game level difficulty in the Open Beta. While Hot Brass is always a game that creates tension as you face dangerous situations, the beta may be particularly challenging for new players (or even those who played the Alpha). We encourage you to play with friends so you can work together to clear these levels.
changedA Note on DifficultyLet us know what you think! We’ll use your feedback to perfect the difficulty balance for the final game.
changedHow can I get involved?Sign up on hotbrassgame.com to secure your spot. We’ll send out Steam codes for everyone who’s signed up when the Beta goes live on February 20. Everyone will get one code for themselves, and one extra one to give to a friend!

A Note on Difficulty
We’re experimenting with mid-game level difficulty in the Open Beta. While Hot Brass is always a game that creates tension as you face dangerous situations, the beta may be particularly challenging for new players (or even those who played the Alpha). We encourage you to play with friends so you can work together to clear these levels.

Even in the Beta, you can play with 1-4 players in online and local co-op. These missions are tough, so the better you work together, the higher your chance of a positive outcome.
We hope you’ll share your experiences with us via the feedback form, which will open automatically when you exit the game. You can also share your thoughts in the game’s Steam forum. We’ll be using YOUR feedback to polish Hot Brass up before its final release."
When is the final game coming out?
We’ll be revealing the release date for Hot Brass later this year!
