Hostile Takeover changes
The Intrusion Countermeasure System update is now live! This mode is unlocked after beating the game, and provides an extra difficulty for those looking for more of a challenge! Starting a run with ICS active will add a permanent difficulty challenge to the entire run, and temporary challenges in each combat through the trace timer.
ICS Trace Timer
A timer that counts down each turn, deploying a countermeasure when it reaches 0
Playing cards or attacking enemies marked with a Trace will also decrease the timer
ICS Level 1 - Inhibit Intruders
Reduces healing after boss fights
Countermeasures reduce card draws and affect card costs
ICS Level 2 - Enhance Defenders
Enemies have increased stats
Countermeasures buff enemies
ICS Level 3 - Increase Security
Additional cards will have traces
Countermeasures change character positions and force movement
ICS Level 4 - Deploy Malware
Start the game with a permanent Virus installed
Countermeasures empower viruses and trash cards
ICS Level 5 - Summon Backup
Enemies can have random traits
Countermeasures summon additional enemies to encounters
