Hi everyone!

Last time I told you about the ER, which you usually see when going to the hospital. Today I will tell you about the maternity unit.

The delivery suite is quite a unique room in my opinion because it has to be prepared for everything. One of the essential things here will be the birthing chair. But it shouldn't be the only thing here. Give a choice to women how she wants to give birth. Prepare a mattress, ball, even a bath tube! Don't forget about the father who can participate in it. Add some chair or sofa for him.

You will need a lot of medical equipment like, for example, anesthesia or an incubator. You will never know if it will be required or not.

Sometimes a C-section so prepare an operation room (soon, I will talk more about it).

Maternity unity also needs a room for the mother and her baby. It should be comfortable, have a toilet, a changing table, and a second parent's place.

Close to that ward is the neonatologist ward, which is for newborn babies. There should be incubators, beds for infants, and Bili lights.
