This is the Horizon Walker Development Team.

Today, we would like to share details regarding the upcoming rebalance for the Vanguard, Everette, following the many suggestions and feedback sent in by our Human Gods.

Everette is a Vanguard known for her overwhelming presence and devastating area attacks. However, in actual combat situations, there were many cases where the amount of preparation and AP investment required did not feel adequately rewarded.

Particularly in fast-paced battles, feedback consistently pointed out that Everette was often exposed to danger before reaching her full potential, and even when difficult setup conditions were successfully met, the resulting damage did not always feel satisfying enough.

To address these issues, the development team has focused on strengthening Everette’s core identity as a Vanguard who unleashes overwhelming AoE power when her conditions are fully met.

First, Everette’s unique trait, 「Ancient Archmage」, will receive a new additional effect.

Whenever Everette uses a skill other than Standby or a Basic Attack, her Magic ATK will stack progressively, allowing her to unleash far greater firepower once fully built up.

Through this adjustment, Everette will evolve beyond a Vanguard who simply uses AoE attacks. Instead, she will gradually become a terrifying battlefield presence the more successfully she continues casting during combat.

We also wanted to improve the lack of meaningful payoff when fighting large groups of enemies.

To address this, Everette’s exclusive skill, 「The Eternal Queen」, will now gain additional effects tied directly to the number of enemies hit in a single attack.

Previously focused mainly on raw stat bonuses, the skill will now grant special enhancement effects such as: Increased Crit Rate, Increased Immaterial Boost and Increased Crit DMG, depending on how many enemies are struck at once.

In particular, when attacking 5 or more enemies simultaneously, the enhanced 「The Eternal Queen」 effect will allow Human Gods to truly experience Everette’s signature large-scale battlefield annihilation potential.

With this rebalance, our goal is not simply to increase Everette’s numerical strength.

Instead, we want her identity as a Vanguard who delivers explosive results when difficult conditions are fulfilled to feel much more distinct and rewarding during actual gameplay.

Alongside this update, the new twin Vanguards, Mira and Mirana, will also be introduced.

Mira and Mirana are designed to help compensate for some of Everette’s weaknesses, particularly in terms of setup time and sustained combat stability.

By pairing them together, Human Gods will be able to support Everette more consistently and reach her maximum potential much more reliably during battle.

The development team will continue pursuing balance adjustments that allow each Vanguard’s unique combat style and identity to stand out more clearly, rather than limiting their usefulness to only very specific situations.

Thank you.
