And, conversely, for people who only want to play these modes, they would be a part of a large, story-driven game that these people don't care about, at an inadequate price point. Then there's a third group of gamers, who enjoy both boomer shooters and arena shooters alike.

Here's our reasoning...
We had two choices:

- Make a fully fledged standalone game 100% revolving around the streamlined, combat-focused horde / endless modes, with the price being just a few bucks.
The problem with 1 is that an update like that would be 100% worthless for people who don't care about these modes. And, conversely, for people who only want to play these modes, they would be a part of a large, story-driven game that these people don't care about, at an inadequate price point. Then there's a third group of gamers, who enjoy both boomer shooters and arena shooters alike.
We feel our decision suits all 3 groups.
