"Hello, soldiers!

Today I'm featuring a very little-known "vessel" from WWII: the "Flak Raft"!

This wasn't a ship; it was a sort of floating object packed with anti-aircraft weapons, suitable for defense in places where a real ship wasn't wanted.

Why did I include it in the game?

Simple! Because it's strange and little-known, and I like atypical military vehicles!

In reality, it was a very slow vessel; in the game, it will be the same, but the armament will be modified so as not to render it useless outside of anti-aircraft combat.

What weapons will the Flak Raft have?

It will have two quadruple 12.7 mm machine guns, with the ability to rotate downward to attack even water targets.

There will also be two 88 mm anti-aircraft guns at the rear, equipped with proximity-fed ammunition, making them excellent for dealing aerial damage to swarms of flying enemies.

Finally, there will be two more 88 mm forward guns, but this time with traditional ammunition, allowing the Flak Raft to counter naval enemies larger than a simple inflatable boat!

I was thinking of removing the ballistic protection from the rear guns, so as to immediately indicate that they are intended for anti-aircraft use. What do you think?

The question is: how many crew members should we include?

Given the symmetry of the armament, I'd consider two crew members, so everyone can use the weapon they want. What do you think?

Do you like this "ship"? How do you plan to use it in the game?

IMPORTANT: Using Unity 6, I had to, for various reasons, switch from built-in to URP (graphics stuff).

This means the game should have slightly higher graphical quality, probably including better optimization of the graphics management. Unfortunately, due to compatibility issues, I have to redo some things from scratch, such as all the particle effects, which results in an uncalculated delay in development time... I assure you, it's more disappointing than it is for you! :D

See you at the next MEET, my friends!

THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!"
