Repeated intro
Hello Gamers! We know many of you have been waiting for an update that addresses some of the current issues in the game and We would like to say that we hear you loud and clear! Today, we’re pushing one of the biggest updates for Home Invader yet. This patch focuses heavily on improving atmosphere, gameplay flow, readability, performance, and the overall player experience. 1. Added Settings Menu Players can now customize multiple graphical and gameplay settings, including:
What changed
- UI and audio
- Performance
- Gameplay
- Fixes
Resolution Options
FPS Limits (30 / 60 / 120 / Unlimited)
V-Sync Toggle
Audio Controls
FX Volume Controls
Dialogue Volume Controls
This would provide help for low end devices. 2. New Retry Spawn Point Players will now respawn near the house’s front door after getting caught instead of restarting all the way from the van outside. This will make the game progression less annoying for players who are getting caught again & again! *Point to Note : If you restart the game from the Title Screen it will result in a brand new game! 3. Visual and Environmental Improvements
A major visual pass has been done across the game, including:
Relighting Improvements
Redesigned “Game Over” Screen
Added Foliage
Updated Color Grading
Environmental Tweaks and spacial changes
Reduced unnecessary empty space to lower player confusion
The game should now feel darker, compact, immersive, and more atmospheric overall. 4. Major Bug Fixes
These are the improvements suggested by you guys who were having problems with gameplay progression as there were some gamebreaking elements so we did something about it:
Fixed the Master Key issue, and added description to each key and its function in the Tab Menu
Various smaller fixes and improvements
Documents can now be read in plain text for improved readability
Fixed the softlocking issue in the game, we hope this issue has been fixed for good ;-;
We added a few more bugs to fix later ;)
Parting Words
From the beginning, the game was intended to be a short and free experience for players rather than a long-term live-service project with DLCs or large expansions. With most major game-breaking issues now resolved, our team will gradually begin moving toward future projects that aim to deliver even more polished and ambitious experiences.
That said, this does not mean support for the game is ending entirely. We will continue to monitor feedback and fix any major game-breaking issues players may encounter.
Thank you to everyone who played the game, shared feedback, reported bugs, and supported the project so far <3
