Hold Your King changes
Thank you so much for your support, your feedback, your wishlists, and for following our journey all the way to launch. Today, we are incredibly excited to finally open the castle gates and invite everyone into the chaotic, physics-based world of Hold Your King.
In Hold Your King, you and your friends must carry the King and Queen through dangerous, unpredictable, and often ridiculous obstacles. Every step matters. The stretcher reacts with physics, the environment can betray you, and one small mistake can turn a royal rescue into complete disaster.
Whether you are carefully coordinating with your team or laughing as everything falls apart, Hold Your King is built around chaotic co-op moments, teamwork, panic, and fun.
What Awaits You in Hold Your King
Here are some of the key features you can experience at launch:
Chaotic Physics-Based Co-op Carry the royal stretcher together, balance your movement, and try to survive unpredictable situations.
2–4 Player Gameplay Play with your friends and coordinate every step, jump, turn, and recovery.
King and Queen Rescue System Protect both royals, place crowns at checkpoints, and push forward through each stage.
Dangerous Obstacles and Traps Walls, stairs, terrain, moving hazards, and physics-based objects can easily ruin your perfect run.
Checkpoint Progression Reach checkpoints, place crowns, and continue your journey without losing all your progress.
Funny Co-op Moments Panic, mistakes, bonks, last-second saves, and unexpected failures are all part of the experience.
Steam Achievements Unlock achievements as you master the chaos, survive challenges, and complete objectives.
Multiple Difficulty Options Choose how punishing you want the royal rescue to be, including harder modes for players looking for a serious challenge.
Different Endings Your performance matters. Finish faster, fail less, avoid too many bonks, and try not to make the King too angry. If you do well, he may forgive you and let you stay close to the throne. If not… you’ll find out what happens. :)
Carry the King. Protect the Queen. Don’t Lose Control.
Hold Your King is not just about reaching the end. It is about communication, timing, and keeping your team together under pressure.
The stretcher can get stuck, slip, collide, rotate, bounce, or completely ruin your plan if you are not careful. You will need to adjust your position, move together, recover from mistakes, and keep both royals safe.
Sometimes the best strategy is careful coordination.
Sometimes it is pure chaos.
Usually, it is both.
Built for Friends, Fails, and Funny Moments
Hold Your King was designed to create memorable co-op moments. The kind of moments where everyone shouts at once, someone makes a terrible decision, the stretcher flips, the King flies, and somehow the team still manages to recover.
Or doesn’t.
Either way, we hope the game gives you plenty of funny clips, close calls, and unforgettable runs with your friends.
