It’s finally time for our first Hive Blight update. Before we dive in, we just want to thank you again for your continued support and the enthusiasm you’ve shown so far. It really keeps us motivated and excited to keep improving the game.

So, what’s new?

First, we’ve expanded the enemy pool. Until now, only our first boss, the Grandmolder, had enemies tied to its mechanics. That didn’t feel quite fair to the other two bosses, so we’ve changed that. The Mycelium Herald and the Crimson Puppeteer now both have their own dedicated minions during their chapters. Say hello to...

...the Starmolds and...

...the Reflecterrors.

We’ve also added a brand new type of enemy to bring more variety to your runs. Say hello to...

... the Fraglings.

Discover what they all do in game!

Next, we’ve expanded on the number of the legendary items available. Boss rewards felt a bit limited on that side, so we added one unique legendary equipment for each of the current clans.

Introducing the Walnut Banjoo, the Haze Cload, and the Rosestoc. You’ll have to discover their effects in game.

We also added a few quality of life features based on your feedback.

You can now reroll most choices you encounter during a run. It costs a small amount of Nectar, so use it wisely, you don't want to miss out later because you lack a few drop of nectar.

We’ve also introduced a “Retire” option. If you have units you no longer need, you can retire them to recover some Elixir of Life. Don’t worry, your unit will be sent to nice farmland where all other retired units leave happy forever.

Finally, we improved the tracking for damage dealt and damage mitigated, so you’ll now get more accurate information about what happened during fights.

To thank our community, we’re also sharing some fanart from players. This time, featuring works from Uchudische and BottledFizz.
