FEBRUARY UPDATE

ITS BEEN A WHILE, HASN’T IT.

These last two months have been the longest- yet also shortest- months of my life. I’m bewildered by the amount of attention hitogata has been getting. I sincerely thought about 20 people would play the demo, not like, THIS MANY. All of the feedback means SO MUCH like you have no idea.

GAME UPDATE:

It’s so scary to show anything off because I want the experience of the full game to be as blind and spoiler free as possible. HOWEVER… I’ll oblige.

(audio is super unfinished or not present, dialogue and visuals and etc will most likely be touched up, this is a SUPER huge WIP.)

I haven’t been working on the game as much due to working on the demo and other hitogata related things, but it’s still coming along! im trying to find new workflows to get faster at this.

DREAMSCAPE 4 + DEMO JAPANESE TRANSLATION!?!:

A Japanese translation is (mostly) finished! It’s going to have some issues/imperfections upon release due to Japanese not being my native language, so I’d love to hear some feedback on it.

ALSO.... in the middle of January, the translation was playable at the DREAMSCAPE4 games convention in Tokyo!! It felt like a total fever dream. The reception from it has been great too (APPARENTLY.) The demo will release in the upcoming days, I’m a bit shy and might just release it on itch exclusively for a while. (for reasons stated above.)

SICK NEW GAME COVER:

As you may have seen, there's a kick(butt) new game cover drawn by LOBOTOLOID! I redid the steam page and various assets, using this cover as a base. Expect to see more updates to the steam page soon!

(also, expect to see some updates to the game in the next week that might provide some changes outside of just bug fixes. its nothing crazy or new content, just some reshuffling of events and songs!)

CLOSING THOUGHTS:

Hell yeah. Idk. Thanks for thinking my game is awesome. I’ve said this before but the full thing will blow you away. I promise. The full story made one of my friends feel sick, and it made another friend cry, so I think I’m doing something right.
