**PATCH NOTES – 0.9.8.318**
**Major Features**
* **Boss System**: New boss enemy class, boss spawner, exploding bosses that remove walls, new Kiwi boss.
* **Chat Plays Integration**: Command queue system, username display, maze-accurate movement, overworld support, rattler enemy control, debugging tools.
**Gameplay Additions**
* Rage system expanded: music reacts to rage level, rage gain from ice blocks and endpoints, UI moved to top.
* Map completion polish: gem collection animations, falling leftover gems, object fade-outs, counters.
* Artifact updates: corpse drops, new animations, corpse indicators, end-screen animation improvements.
* New tutorials: overworld movement, artifacts, auto-move, reset toggle, disable toggle, completion audio.
* Level unlock requirements and gate info now shown clearly.
* Level 100 portal now links to Level 1 for free.
* Rattler enemies improved: pathing, direction indicators, segment logic, artifact stealing based on length.
**Controls and Input**
* New device monitor and improved controller routing.
* Gamepad start opens pause.
* Menu navigation rewritten for keyboard and controller.
* On-screen mouse joystick improved.
* Hardware cursor overhaul: no flicker, instant follow during panning, always visible when needed.
**Overworld & Navigation**
* Click anywhere to auto-move.
* Player auto-pans to destination.
* Cursor panning aligned with hardware cursor.
* Highlight paths and depth lines on hover.
* Fixed selection reliability and gate interactions.
* Remote nodes now initiate movement instead of failing input.
**UI & UX**
* Full tooltip system: anchors, delays, token parsing, font sizing, contextual help, menu support.
* Level buttons now expand on hover and show level numbers.
* Portal arrows added for direction clarity.
* Modal handling improved; inputs blocked correctly when open.
* New share/buy overlay and URL sharing modal.
* Updated brightness and global lighting controls.
**Progression & Systems**
* Steam achievements implemented and fixed.
* Share credit system rewritten and expanded.
* Demo variant system with content restrictions.
* Save and load fixes for maps, portals, unlocks.
* Save manager refactor.
**Performance**
* Major optimizations to:
