Rogue Shop Overhaul
The Rogue Shop has been refined to provide a more immersive and tactical meta-progression experience. This update focuses on clarity, expanded lore, and an optimized flow for managing post-run rewards.
- Expanded Roster6 new items have been added, bringing the total to 12. Additionally, all existing items have been completely overhauled.
- Lore & GuidanceA new integrated tooltip system explains the "Earn, Unlock, and Activate" loop. All 12 starting modifiers—including the Centurion, Harbinger, and Tacoma—now feature immersive flavor text for deeper tactical context.
Refined Legacy Coin Integration: The relationship between performance and procurement is more transparent. Legacy Coins awarded at the conclusion of a campaign now directly reflect survival time and mission success.
Data Rework: The Rogue Shop tech base has been optimized to support future content expansion. This involved a backend code overhaul to ensure the system is scalable for upcoming features.
Gameplay & UI Improvements
Damage System Clarity: Hovering over the structure/armor diagram in the Engineering View now displays a tooltip explaining exactly how the damage system works.
- Trade EfficiencyTrading at stars now shows available stock directly on the Strategic View . Hovering over a star reveals its stock amount—no need to enter the trading scene first. Core stars offer significantly more goods than border stars.
Financial Feedback: If funds are insufficient for a purchase, the money counter will blink in red to indicate the missing amount. This provides a simple and streamlined visual cue.
- Unified SetupThe New Game setup UI has been unified with improved tooltips for a smoother start.
- Doom Fleet IdentificationThe Doom Fleet quest marker now features an improved tooltip to clearly distinguish it from standard mission markers.
- Fighter CombatFixed an issue where auto-fire was incorrectly reducing fire rates. Fighters now engage targets with the intended frequency.
Technical Polish: Various code improvements have been made to the tech level and overall UI tooltips for a smoother experience.
Voice Overs & Progress Update
Work has begun on professional Voice Overs; the first contracts with voice actors have been signed. Finalizing scripts requires locking in certain content earlier than planned, which may temporarily slow the pace of new coding features.
