Hillshade Farm changes
Hi everyone, another update is here, focusing on mechanics improvements as well as stability and other fixes.
List of changes for this patch:
Build & Upgrade system changes
Hammer Tool now handles object upgrades like fences, walls etc. In order to upgrade any farm object, the Hammer must be equipped, and pressing LMB will open the designated upgrade menu. (structure upgrades not affected)
This greatly reduces Interaction input overlaps, as the objects now only open the upgrade menus for the Hammer interaction rather than E key.
Hammer Tool build mode input has been changed from LMB to RMB. There are also new input UI indicators that are impossible to miss.
Fertilizer & Booster system Changes
Until now, fertilizers and boosters would instantly send the crop into the next stage, which was way too simplistic and unrewarding.
So, to fix this, entire boost system has been completely changed. When you Boost your crops now, instead of instant growth, crops will receive a Growth Multiplier.
How it works: Each boost will increase the Crop Growth by 50%, more boost = faster growth. The boost VFX remains the same.
Fixes & Improvements
Further game stability optimizations.
Texture optimizations.
Boot-up crash fixes.
Hammer Tool new input UI added.
That is all for this one, I am trying to focus on the game running fine for everyone, yet there are still crash reports and similar.
So, an important note for everyone that keeps seeing "new" issues; It is caused by changes and improvements being made, especially like recent animal save changes which caused a lot of players to lose some of their animals.
I am confident that the latest versions of the game are the most stable since release, as there were hundreds of fixes and adjustments. Hopefully with time we will take care of them all, so thank you for playing and reporting your issues :)
