Update 1.1.0
Here are the highlights of the update:
Traffic checks
NPC vehicles selected for checks now find their stopping positions more quickly and come to a halt significantly sooner. Across the entire Caminora map, all ‘parking zones’ at the side of the road have been revised. This makes stopping a vehicle for a check significantly faster and more realistic.
Vehicle damage
The impact and effects of collisions with the environment and other vehicles have been revised and adjusted. Damage effects and damage values, as well as vehicle deformations, have been improved and now reflect reality more authentically.
Speeding
Based on player feedback, there are now significantly more vehicles travelling too fast, increasing the likelihood of them being stopped for a speeding ticket. The general speed of vehicles has been slightly increased. At the same time, the radar in patrol cars has been significantly improved and simplified. The display has also been adjusted.
Firefights
The shootouts have been significantly improved. Among other things, the feedback to players has been changed and now provides much more information. The collision behaviour of projectiles has also been overhauled. It now provides better feedback, and ammunition only collides with visible obstacles.
Accidents
The accident system has been overhauled. Accidents now occur more frequently and are presented more clearly. Furthermore, the variability has been significantly improved. Additionally, the triggering mechanism has been altered to ensure that players do not trigger the same events one after the other. The accidents themselves have also been made more variable within the event, leading to greater variety.
Confessions
The gameplay for obtaining confessions has been overhauled. It is now slightly easier to obtain confessions from suspects in the context of accidents. The number of confessions has been increased. A confessor can no longer be questioned indefinitely about the course of events. Thanks to the new implementation, the process now feels better in gameplay and offers an ‘endpoint’ for the player.
New content
With the new update, players gain access to new content from various areas of the game. There are now four additional variable types of accidents available, triggered in such a way that players do not encounter two identical accidents in succession. Thanks to the changes in gameplay, players also gain new options for radio calls, missions and traffic checks. Based on these further improvements, the gaming experience becomes more varied, offering new possibilities or enhancing familiar mechanics to provide fresh experiences.
