After performing an air attack, you can now finish it up with a follow-up.
You can also now hit the ground earlier after a double jump by attacking in the air.
When respawning, you now get a visual pointer to the main objective of the level.
Extended i-frames when dodging.
You can now dodge out of the ‘getting hit’ animation earlier.
Enemy collision capsules have been made larger.
You can now double jump if you walk out of a platform by accident!
Some settings (like audio preferences) now save in-between game launches.
Gamepad button prompts now default to XBOX icons.
Dialogue has been adjusted (and Captain Nemo now makes it more clear he wants to speak with you at the beginning of the demo).
Bug Fixes 🐛
Fixed several menu issues.
Fixed some minor issues with the Engage mechanic.
You can now use your gamepad of choice more reliably when navigating through menus.
Fixed a softlock situation on the platforming section after the second optional path in the level.
When coming back from [REDACTED], enemies don’t respawn and attack you relentlessly anymore.
Captain Nemo doesn’t laugh infinitely anymore in certain occasions.
Made the floating gem on the first optional path a bit more obvious and added wisps to lead the player more visibly to it.
It’s now easier to go up the stairs in the tower platforming section of the demo.
You can now reliably obtain the second hidden spell in the level.
When sprinting during the demo’s boss fight, the entire screen won’t become blurry anymore.
Our next patch will be focused on performance improvements, QoL tweaks and further minor bug fixes.
Thank you very much for your feedback and we look forward to hearing your comments on the new patch! 🔮
