New Content: The Altar and Heroes

You're going to be worshipping at the shrine of strategy with this one! We are introducing 'Altars' to your roster of buildings in Hard and higher difficulties, as well as Weekly and Roguelike Challenges.

Heroes Arise!

Each game, you can summon one hero from the Altar. These celestial champions come with:

• Core skills so powerful, they're basically sacrilegious! These recharge automatically over time and can be cast at your command.

• Three additional skills that can be learnt, because even heroes need education! These enhance your hero's abilities in conjunction with their core skill.

• Unrestricted movement anywhere on the map (unless there's a river, because these gods never learnt how to swim)

• Attack power that grows with each day, proving that practice makes perfect, even in heaven!

The Sacred Roster

Say hello to the four new heroes that at your command:

• Lyra, the Swiftarrow, an archer whose Rain of Arrows will have her enemies praying for cover!

  • Core Skill: Rain of Arrows deals a wide AoE of physical damage.

  • Additional skills can enhance arrow frequency and unleash more devastating volleys after casting. It's raining cats and arrows!

• Ragnar, the Bloodfury, a fierce warrior who is a bit of a zealot.

  • Core Skill: Frenzied Rage allows Ragnar to sacrifice his own blood to enter a berserker state, gaining buffs and dealing area damage effects. Talk about a blood donation!

• Isolde, the Lightbringer, a knight equipped with SPF1000 against evil.

  • Core Skill: Holy Shield creates a large magical barrier that protects and empowers all allied units within its range. Group hugs and smiting at three o'clock, anyone?

• Kael, the Wintermage, a mage bringing you your Winter Wonderland fantasies!

  • Core Skill: Frost Domain: With this treasure, I summon... no wait, wrong universe! Frost Domain creates a powerful ice field on the map. Within this field, Kael's basic attacks hit multiple targets and freeze enemies instantly.

  • Additional skills can cause Frost Domain to further boost allied units within its range.
