Hello all Heroes, Villians and Others!
These past few months I've worked on a content update for Heroes Against Time to make the game more fun.
It includes two new shop items, new relics, some event changes / additions, and a long requested feature to be able to use characters from all sets together - in a new map for players who have beaten the game.
Hope you enjoy it! -David
Patch notes:
New content:
New option for healer in the [Poisonous Swamp] event
New event for Enchanter + Rogue
Vampire blood moon event changed from gain ATK to gain max HP, which should help the vampire not invalidate its build when used with blood mage.
Four new relics:
"Cursed Sword" - When you gain 5 or more ATK, increase max health by +6. Suffer 2 damage in combat (Meant to help create some uncommon combos and give more self-damage options)
"Lens" - When you delay fog by 3 or more turns, buff leader ATK by 7. Also delays fog by 3 turns when acquired. (Yes, these stack).
Dragon Scale - Suffer 6 damage when acquired. Increase all HP gain by +1. (Meant to help various max HP gain builds at a low price or give a bit of self damage)
Root - When you dig layer 2, heal +10 HP. Quickly dig 1 layer in ruins. (Another dig relic, which is also a heal relic.)
New shop items:
"Random relic" which is an unkown option if you prefer not to buy the other relic in the shop
"Practice" which increases captain effect by +1
"The World" map, unlocked after the last map to let players experiment with all sets combined. It's naturally unbalanced but moreso meant as a challenge / playgrounds.
Content removal:
Sapling - This relic felt like a guaranteed victory in early game and irrelevant in lategame when most relic gains happen.
Enchanted Lance - This relic came with its own drawback, and was only good for combat focused teams and even then was often useless later on in the game.
Other additions:
Made it so that ignoring allies in ally tiles reduced their chance to appear in future ally tiles (but the chance slowly returns to normal in subsequent ally tiles). This should make getting a build you're aiming for easier.
When hovering over a map or the next set / map unlock, you can easily see all the remaining unlocks for the current set or map.
Fixes:
Multiple fixes to misspelled words
