Here Be Dragons changes
Yeah! Here Be Dragons will finally arrive. The game will be available in the Early Access phase in the middle of August (the most likely 15th-16th August 2019). We are very happy that we will be able to show you adventures of the Avant Armada and reveal real Columbus story. The truth that officials wanted to erase will be hidden no more! We can't wait to read your impressions. But back to the meritum of the case. The most important Q&A for the Early Access phase:
Why Early Access?
Here Be Dragons is in a solid, playable state. We'd like to know what players think about the game during development. Players can enjoy interesting gameplay and story of our title while waiting for advanced scenarios and challenges.
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
We expect to be in Early Access for 3-6 months. The time depends on players’ feedback. If there are many sugestions, development time may be extended.
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
We plan to add new 6-8 campaigns (18-24 scenarios) containing new enemies, story characters, player skills and challenges. We will try to improve optimizations for different configurations and we will add missing features. Updates will be releasing at regular intervals.
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
The game is already very playable. The current state of Here Be Dragons is:
6 campaigns
20 scenarios
4 captains
15 types of enemies
over 20 player skills.
We have full, very clear tutorial, important part of main story, advanced state of mechanics, finished UI and - last but not least - a lot of humour.
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
The price will rise after Early Access. The price won’t rise due to the additional content added during Early Access.
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
We use our Steam forums and our Discord to receive players comments & opinions. We are always open for the feedback about balance, UI comfort, gameplay details and bugs.
