Thank you to everyone who played the demo and shared your thoughts. This update is a full‑scale refinement of the opening experience, core systems, and early‑game progression. Nearly every part of the demo has been touched, tuned, or rebuilt to better reflect the vision of the full game. Here’s what’s new:
Intro Improvements
Added new water details and environmental polish around the ship.
Sailors now have proper uniforms and more visual variety.
Adjusted the day cycle: the voyage now takes place midday, docking occurs at night, and the story transitions cleanly into the next morning.
Tutorial Flow
Reduced unnecessary walking segments for Lucien to improve pacing.
Fixed a graphical issue where players could walk underneath Lucien.
Cleaned up and corrected tutorial dialogue.
Relationship Page
View all currently available villagers.
Track your relationship progress with meters and heart icons.
Each villager now includes basic info about their medical needs and tendencies.
Herbalist Page

Displays all reagents currently obtainable in the world.
Includes medical properties and greenhouse‑growing details for each plant.
Added a new notification when you collect a reagent for the first time.
Quest Page
The NPC quest board has been fully implemented.
The board now indicates when new quests are available.
Quest data is now properly integrated into the save/load system.
Villager Quests

Town quests are now available outside the Adventurers Guild.
Completing these quests rewards gold and increases friendship with the associated villager.
🔧 Miscellaneous Improvements
Added quest access directly from the crafting bench.
Added a Help UI to the crafting bench showing valid combinations.
Reading a patient’s diagnostic page now auto‑generates a related quest, viewable from the crafting table.
When holding a watering can, a water‑level bar now appears on the right side of the screen.
Added UI scaling options for improved accessibility and readability.
Thank you so much for playing the demo and sharing your thoughts. As a solo developer, every bit of feedback you send my way genuinely helps shape the game and keeps me moving forward. If you run into any bugs, strange behavior, or just have ideas you think could make the experience better, please feel free to leave a comment. I read everything, and your support means more than you know.
