The mysterious Day of Full Verima stretches the barriers of this multiverse thin, so lots of miracles are about to happen. Princess Beexen concealed a pact with the forces of primordial darkness in a desperate attempt to restore justice and claim her father’s throne which had to be rightfully hers. However, the price of the crown was too high. As a Herald of the First primordial phantom of darkness Tai-Ahnara, she was ordered to lead their armies to conquer the shattered and devastated world of Dreamsted and spread the raging war even beyond its boundaries.

Duration of an average playthrough depends on such factors as player’s level of immersion (e.g. whether you skip or read dialogs, try different routes, choose alternative options, etc.), battles difficulty level (“Story mode” allow to skip battles entirely), map exploration pattens and other.

For fulfilling certain goals such as winning battles, saving/killing certain characters, unlocking endings, finding alternative routes and so on, you will get juicy rewards in Heralds of the Avirentes! These rewards will include artifacts, expendables, buffs, and even combat buddies! We won’t publish a full list of rewards and ways how to get them to keep you motivated to explore the world of Dreamsted at your own pace!

This is a standalone complete story with several possible endings.
This story is more linear than HotA, but player’s action sill greatly impact the main characters and, depending on playstyle and options chosen, will trigger one of three possible endings.

We strongly recommend trying out the main game first to avoid lore gaps as well as getting to know the original characters better.

The game offers an optional interspecies romance route.
Unlike original game, The Beexen’s Tale is a much darker story with grimmer noir-like narration. No character is safe until the very end of the tale!
New, tuned and upgraded combat system offers more dynamic real-time-like approach. Be advised: we’ve designed a special Story Mode that skips battles entirely for those who are not into combat. However, you may not obtain certain bonuses and/or rewards in the main game.
