Quality Of Life improvements

  • Sector 4’s voice activation puzzle has been streamlined by removing some of the restrictions of the playback of the recordings, this should make the puzzle slightly more accessible to solve and more straightforward. The content of the puzzle hasn’t changed.

  • The Carlos Coil Controller (electrical handgun) now lets you clear all active projectiles by holding down the “recall projectile” trigger.

Bugs fixed & improvements:

  • There have been numerous audio improvements, as well as some additional audio in places. Overall, things should sound much more immersive.

  • Several visual fixes and polish. Fixed z-fighting and occlusion issues, added missing textures and replaced placeholder ones on some objects.

  • Fixed collider issues on some props. (Importantly, made unopenable lockers completely solid so you can’t get stuck inside them by accident anymore!)

  • Fixed the player not being able to teleport inside elevators.

  • Added buttons in the end puzzles of level 3 that open the doors to the courtyard if you lock yourself in.

  • Fixed the chat reacting to the player’s hand gestures

from the hand that was cut off in the opening sequence.

  • Fixed some player triggers that weren’t firing. Aside from an

audio log in the final level

, these triggers were just save checkpoints or catches for preventing softlocks.

  • Fixed some text and/or localization in some spots.

  • Dynamic shadows were added as an option for the player’s headlight in the graphics menu.

  • Fixed issues that could happen when taking the headset on and off at different points in the game.
