Dear Survivors,

A week has passed since the last blog and, as promised, I’m here to share a first look at the Hellbreach: Vegas Visual Update that we’ve been cooking up!

As mentioned in the previous blog, we’ll be rolling out a visual overhaul of perks, slot machines, and our favourite slaying targets: demons! So, let’s get into some of these changes:

Slot machines

The slot machines will maintain their trusty, one-armed bandit look - but with a fresh coat of paint. Perk cards can now be bought using soda vending machines that you can find spread out across the map.

I felt like redesigning the machines was a necessary step after some of your feedback made it clear they needed more polish and character to really match the "Vegas" vibe. The goal was to give them that flashy, over-the-top look while keeping the dark tone of the game.

Enemies

Along with the machines, the demons will also be getting a visual upgrade! With better textures and improved visibility, you’ll still recognise their ugly mugs. But I added a hellish glow and more detail that’ll make them stand out better in the game, and make it more satisfying for you to watch them go POP!

That’s all I want to show you for now! I’m really excited to consistently get to work on making Hellbreach fit my vision even closer and I’m glad that I have your feedback to guide me!

What do you think of these changes? Are you looking forward to the visual update?

Ash
