Hell Slayer changes
The game is now in Early Access! Thank you to everyone who played the demo!
New Difficulty Level
The First Difficulty Level has been added to the game. It can be unlocked by beating the currently only stage.
Higher difficulty levels increase the amount of essence gained exponentially and are intended to really push the game to it's limits.
More difficulty levels will be added over time to ensure that each is balanced and an enjoyable challenge.
Minor Skill Tree Overhaul
The cost of skills now gradually increases with each picked upgrade. This ensures that going deeper into the tree and potentially specializing is more beneficial, rather than just filling it row by row.
Skills have been rearranged to ensure more meaningful choices, and of course, unlike the demo the full skill tree is now available.
Returning Blades
The Returning Blades are a short range projectile weapon that does not scale with Size but has the ability to hit targets on it's return path.
This weapon is unlocked from the beginning.
Other Changes
Survival bonus has been doubled, from 1 essence to 2 essence every minute.
Armored Brutes now always drop 1 essence. (was 1-2 essence)
Healing orbs now heal a percentage of max health, making increasing health a more viable choice in comparison to increasing armor.
Monster induced knockback has been toned down a little. Boss Orb knockback has been increased slightly.
The armory UI has been tweaked and adjusted, this is a work in progress and more polish is coming.
Twin Blades: Attack Speed Upgrade buffed from +2 Attacks/s to +2.5 Attacks/s
Twin Blades: Size Upgrade nerfed from +30% Size to +25% Size
