Introducing the Hell Clock: Cursed War Race To Hell Contest - your chance to win a custom Hell Clock gaming PC from Starforge Systems!

To celebrate the upcoming launch of our first major expansion, we’ve partnered with our publisher, Mad Mushroom, and Starforge Systems on a contest where you can win a hellish prize.

Here’s how it works. Starting on Cursed War launch day (now set for July 9th), stream your campaign and Endless Nightmares runs, and the fastest time to clear Tier 9 of Endless Nightmares in the first week of launch wins the grand prize.

That grand prize is a Horizon Core pre-built gaming PC from Starforge Systems, a custom Hell Clock art case, and Steam keys for everything in the Mad Mushroom portfolio.

Nine runner-up submissions will also win three Steam keys each for both the Hell Clock base game and Cursed War DLC to share with their friends or community. A few important things to note:

  • This contest is open only for the PC / Steam version of the game, not consoles.

  • You can stream on Twitch, YouTube, or Kick, and your VODs must be enabled and publicly available.

  • All submissions must be made in the Hell Clock Discord server.

  • This contest is for players 16 years old and up, and there are a few regions that aren’t eligible (check the rules below).

  • If you’ve been part of our Cursed War QA test or Closed Beta test community, you have a significant advantage and are unfortunately not eligible.

  • If you’re a content creator that has received a key for Cursed War early, you’re still eligible but you can’t start playing patch 2.0 or Curse War until launch day. So sit on that Steam key until the 9th!

Read on for the full contest rules and details as well as Terms & Conditions.

Good luck, Clockmakers!

Contest Overview

Race To Hell is a contest to see which player can be the first to complete Tier 9 of Hell Clock’s endgame mode, Endless Nightmares, on Veteran difficulty, while livestreaming on a specified platform.

Eligible players will have one week to achieve this, and the winner will receive a gaming PC courtesy of Starforge Systems as well as a custom Hell Clock art case and the Mad Mushroom portfolio of games, provided via Steam keys.

The top nine submissions (winner plus the next nine players who are determined to have achieved the goal but do not have the fastest time) will also receive three copies of the Supporter Edition of the game (base game + DLC) to use as community giveaways, provided via Steam keys.

How to Compete

In order to take part in the race, participants must install the Hell Clock base game (the Cursed War expansion is not required, but is recommended) and stream their Campaign and Endless Nightmares gameplay live across all 9 Tiers on Veteran difficulty.

The use of “Relaxed Mode” and “Vengeance Mode” is not allowed at any point of the progression. Any type of save editing, cheating or purposeful exploitation of glitches will also lead to disqualification.

If you had early access to the Cursed War and patch 2.0 changes and/or insider information - either as a content creator, press member, Beta tester, QA tester, Rogue Snail or Mad Mushroom employee, you are automatically disqualified.

VODs must be enabled and submitted to Rogue Snail via the game’s official Discord server. There is no need to officially sign up, just stream your entire Campaign and Endless Nightmare runs and submit your VOD.

How to Enter

  • Install the Hell Clock base game on Steam (Cursed War expansion is optional) with the 2.0 update

  • As soon as the 2.0 update is publicly available and the game is installed, start streaming on Twitch, Youtube, or Kick

  • Create a new Save File on Veteran difficulty, with Journey of Nightmares toggled on

  • Softcore is recommended but not mandatory

  • The use of “Relaxed Mode” and “Vengeance Mode” is not allowed during this contest

  • Play the game until you are able to complete a Tier 9 Endless Nightmare

  • Submit the VODs of your entire playthrough, from save file creation to finish, to Rogue Snail via the game’s official Discord server

Prize

The winner of the race will receive a Horizon Core pre-build gaming PC from Starforge Systems, as well as a custom Hell Clock art case and a Steam key for each title in the Mad Mushroom portfolio.

The top ten submissions will also each receive three Steam keys for the Hell Clock Supporter’s Edition (base game + DLC) to use as giveaways for their community.
