From the very beginning, I understood that in order to break through the many cliched and multiple projects, I had to give 200%, spend many years and create truly unique mechanics, mythology, plot, world, characters and gameplay. That's why, in order to create something truly new and original, I had to put 6 years of my life into it, sacrifice a lot and put incredible work into every aspect of the video game. I've been developing the game alone for four and a half years, but over the past 2 years I've found a lot of talented creators and started my own team.
We at Hellknights don't just love video games, we live them, living together with the players the fates of iconic characters in incredible worlds. That's why we're giving the project our all and putting our soul into it to give players an adventure they'll remember for the rest of their lives. We are creating the kind of video game that we dream of playing ourselves and want to make it an unforgettable experience for players all over the world thanks to new mechanics. Many of us have survived hell, hardened ourselves to the limit, and realized the true value of life. Unlike most, we don't dream and chat, but act and keep our word. We are creating real art and making our heritage here and right now.
Hellknights is a small indie team spread all over the world. For example, I live in Kazakhstan, but I am preparing to move to Cyprus for more convenient development. We are a group of developers, designers, artists, musicians, and actors who share a strong love of action video games and a passion for storytelling. What we have achieved so far has been made by creators, enthusiasts, and part-time freelancers.
To survive, we work at our hated main job, and late at night or early in the morning we invest all the available time in development, because we can't do it otherwise. We really like what we do and cannot extinguish our fire, which is eager to create real art. Absolutely everyone around us tells us to forget about our aspirations, dreams and our talent, but no one can stop real creators. We simply cannot live without creativity, so we go to the end and ask for only one chance to prove ourselves and earn your trust. Support us and help us prove ourselves. And I give you my word: Hellknights will be the studio that will never let you down. We're just like you, players, and we just want to see a lot more high-quality action video games. That is why the interests of the players will always be above everything else for us.
The Conqueror is primarily being developed by its creator, Danred Helknight, without external funding, with support from an indie team of enthusiasts united by a shared vision and love for the genre, who contribute on weekends. That is why, at this pivotal moment in the game’s fate, your support on is especially important to us.
The 4,000-page script, featuring new mechanics and its own mythology of the “Endless War of Worlds,” is fully completed.
