changedPreviously, I stated that the game would remain in Early Access for about 4-5 months, following its initial release in June. I'm now estimating the game will need somewhere from late Q1 to early Q2 of 2026, to be finished. I can't make any hard promises, but should this prediction change, I'll let you all know as soon as possible. Please forgive me.
changedThat being said, I resumed development about a week ago. I've finished refreshing myself on the game's code base (yeah, it's been a little while), so I will now go back to more regularly scheduled research, planning, and development to deliver the best experience possible.
changedNow, I'm also aware there's a security vulnerability in games made in certain versions of Unity (which was. Unfortunately, Heist.exe was made in one of those versions, so it may be affected. I'll be honest here: I screwed up by not looking into this sooner, as I didn't realize the version I was developing in was vulnerable.
fixedI will be releasing a hotfix patch in the near future (probably a few days) to prevent this vulnerability from potentially affecting players. If you believe that playing Heist.exe has compromised your information, please let the community or myself know at purplehippoprod@gmail.com . Admittedly, I can't do much aside from releasing the hotfix, but I can warn the community and make everyone aware of potential risks.

I apologize for the silence over the past couple months. Due to some life obligations (such as work and other professional endeavors) and some personal matters, I've taken a longer break from developing Heist.exe than I would've liked. For this reason, I must delay the game's release.
