Completely New Game Mode

In this brand-new mode, you are no longer “just” an employee like in the main game – instead, you become the manager of a GRUBER Logistics branch. That means you’re in charge of running your own heavy haulage company. Of course, you can still get behind the wheel yourself.

Mission System

The company’s contracts are, as before, your missions in the game. In addition to the 29 missions from the main game (Employee Mode) and the 10 missions from the Mission Pack DLC, there will now also be procedural, dynamically generated missions. These can either be driven by you or assigned to employees.

There are 34 locations where missions start or end. This results in 954 possible mission routes and around 10,000 missions, thanks to different cargo types and a mission network of more than 10,000 km. Some of these routes even take you across roads where no mission has ever gone before.

But always keep in mind: to accept a mission, you’ll need the right truck, the right trailer, and possibly the right number of employees for escort vehicles or crane operations. Steam post image

Economy & Management

Time progresses from Monday to Friday. Each mission takes one day, and for every completed mission you’ll receive a daily evaluation sheet with payment in €. At the end of the week, after the Friday mission, you’ll receive a weekly evaluation sheet.

A brand-new menu gives you a clear overview of your company for Finances (costs, salaries, fuel, etc.) Employee management (skills, training courses, salaries)and Revenue milestones (rewards for reaching revenue goals).

Employee Management

You can hire up to 3 employees. Assign them to procedural missions (unless they’re already busy driving escort vehicles in story missions). They earn a weekly salary and can drive routes every day.

Their skill values influence mission outcomes. Improve them by sending employees to training courses (unlocked through revenue milestones). For example: Yoga increases discipline, while safety training improves control over the truck.

Revenue Milestones

To keep you motivated, there are Revenue Milestones. The more turnover you generate, the higher your level. Reaching new levels unlocks new opportunities, such as additional employees, training courses, trailers, truck parts, bonus cash, and more. Steam post image

New Fleet Shop

Use the fleet shop to purchase the trucks and trailers you need for certain missions.

Garage with New Purchase Function

The existing garage now comes with a purchase function for truck parts and decorations. That means you’ll still unlock parts and decorations as rewards by completing missions, but you’ll now need to buy and install/decorate them afterwards.

"Heavy South" DLC | Available for purchase | Q1 2026

Many of you will have noticed the barriers to the south of the map.

This comes in the form of a paid DLC called "Heavy South" and will also be seamlessly integrated into the new economy mode.

The DLC will include around 30 new missions with new delivery locations such as a sawmill, river port, train station, mining museum, dam and an aircraft factory.

In addition, new loads such as aircraft parts, locomotives and wagons of various types, wooden constructions, mining machines, autoclaves and various agricultural machines come into play.

As a result, the current drivable game world doubles along with a new city and several new villages.
